A short flash game about a trans-woman’s experiences with medical and social nonsense.
Oh my god. This analysis is AMAZING. Especially the portion about Alex. Easily one of the best game reviews I’ve ever seen.
- Boy I Am (2006):
A documentary that explores antagonism in the lesbian community as a result of the increased visibility of transgender men.
- Boys Don’t Cry (1999):
A drama film based on the real-life story of Brandon Teena, a transsexual man who was raped and murdered by his…
yeah, trans women have more visibility in film, but how many of them are:
- serial killers like Norman Bates or Buffalo Bill or Bobbi Elliot?
- played by cis women in “ugly makeup” like Sabrina Osborne
- portrayed as crossdressers or drag queens rather than trans women
- full of transphobic and transmisogynist tropes and stereotypes
take that all away and basically you’re left with Breakfast on Pluto. that’s about it.

The Night The Sky Crashed
On a foggy night in Odessa, Ukraine, an electronic billboard ERROR’d, resulting in what appeared to be a floating malfunction window in the sky. Later that night, God rebooted his XP machine and the billboard returned to normal.

This is too neat.
best!
So, I’m watching the coverage of the League of Legends Intel Extreme Masters tournament which is taking place in Kiev Ukraine. The out of game chat (folks watching the games) is atrocious. They have made it very obvious that Americans don’t know, and don’t care that they don’t know anything about geography or history. I have read comments about how they don’t want to hear any more Russian, German and Polish whenever someone is speaking Ukrainian on stream. They keep calling it “The Ukraine”, a phrase I am told is highly offensive to the locals (given their history with the USSR). Also, when asked about how he liked Ukraine, Chaox (an American on Team Solomid) responded that he thinks the women are attractive. >_<
To add injury to insult, White Lotus, the Ukrainian team competing, is getting slaughtered.
